Full plans for the Tutera Group’s revised Mission Chateau proposal are now posted on the city’s website (though a couple of the links were glitchy last night). The new renderings show the “enhanced transition zone” along the south edge of the Mission Valley site, which would ultimately become the location for nine new single family houses. The independent living facility maintains the architectural characteristics that were present in the previous application, though the footprint has changed.

From the Tutera Group:

The revised plan for Mission Chateau continues to provide for significant open green space and walking trails located across the senior living community property.  All setbacks contained in the prior plan are either being maintained or enhanced under the new plan.  The new plan continues to properly address issues such as parking, traffic and storm water runoff, and fully complies with Prairie Village’s building code, ordinances and restrictions, thereby eliminating the need to seek any variances in connection with the construction of Mission Chateau.
