Euston Hardware at the Village Shops this weekend will formally mark completion of the store renovation project that was under way for months.
The revamped store features higher ceilings, new lighting and wider aisles. A reconfiguration of space and the removal of the kitchen design studio have opened up 30 percent more square footage for merchandise, allowing the store to stock thousands of new items, according to store manager Chris Socha.
To commemorate the end of the remodeling process, Euston will be offering free coffee and donuts Saturday from 9-11 a.m., and free hot dogs and soda from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. They’ll also be giving away yardsticks and free quarts of paint.
“It’s just our way of saying thanks to our customers,” Socha said. “They have been very patient with the project over these last months. Folks around here have been great.”
