MainStream house concert promotes church and state separation

MainStream Coalition will host a Kansas Voices United Concert this Sunday, featuring Chicago musician David Roth and local singer/songwriter Joy Zimmerman who lives in Fairway.

During September, house concerts and shows will be performed in all 50 state to raise awareness about the importance of the separation of church and state, according to a MainStream release. Tickets cost $35 with proceeds divided by MainStream Coalition and Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

The cost includes concert, drinks, refreshments and a complimentary membership to MainStream Coalition for new members. Registration and ticket information is available here.

The Sunday concert will be held at a private home in Mission Hills from 7 to 9 p.m.
