A core group of Prairie Villagers lobbied for months for Google Fiber to come to the city. Soon, those Villagers will have a chance to see first hand what Fiber service would look like.
With the adoption earlier this month of an agreement that paves the way for the company to bring its ultra high-speed Internet and television service to Prairie Village, Fiber is hosting a special presentation for city residents about the service and their plans.
The event will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 at the Google Fiber Space, 1820 Westport Road, Kansas City, Mo., 64111.
Fiber representatives will be giving a tour of the Fiber Space from 5:30-6:30 p.m. with a presentation on the service to follow. To reserve a space, visit Google’s reservations page here.
