Topless photo shoot will benefit Shawnee Mission East grad’s cancer foundation

A group of Kansas City area cancer survivors will show some skin Sunday in support of Shawnee Mission East graduate Bret Miller’s breast cancer foundation.

For the third year in a row, local photographer Bo Flores will set up a rooftop photo shoot (at a presently undisclosed location) in which cancer survivors overlook downtown Kansas City – topless. Each participant makes a $40 donation to take part in the shoot, and this year proceeds will go to Miller’s 1T Foundation.

Miller was diagnosed with breast cancer at 24 and has worked diligently ever since to raise awareness of the fact that breast cancer impacts men, and that early detection can save lives.
