Shawnee Mission’s new school superintendent is looking for community input and the district has posted a survey that stakeholders can take online to give their feedback on key issues.
Dr. Jim Hinson is asking people to “provide their thoughts, ideas and suggestions regarding various aspects of the school system. The nine-question survey will be posted online through August 30. The survey can be accessed here.
According to the district’s site:
“The information collected will be used as a launching point from which to further develop feedback collection opportunities and continue conversations about the school district. The responses from stakeholders will assist in mapping out a sense of direction for the school district and inform the development of future strategic plans.”
Dr. Hinson also is planning a series of meetings in September to talk with the public at each of the district’s high schools.
