Chase Hanna’s summer of good news continues.
That honor comes in addition to winning the Kenneth Smith Award, given each year to the best golfer in the metro area, and a stellar performance at the Kansas Golf Association’s junior amateur tournament. During high school play, he won his third consecutive Sunflower League individual title.
Hanna’s talents are sure to bolster the prospects of the Kansas Jayhawks golf team this coming academic year.
His SM East teammate Connor Knabe, who is headed to play at Kansas State, made the Star’s second team lists for boys golf.
