Homestead hosting MOKAN Swim League championships

The edges of the Homestead Country Club pool were packed with spectators Tuesday as the 2013 MOKAN Swim League championships kicked off.

The two-day event started with competition in the “Novice” division. Races resume Thursday for the “Level II” and “Level A” division championship. Homestead hosted the league championships in 2012, as well.

The MOKAN league is made up of swim teams from Homestead, Meadowbrook, the City of Leawood, the City of Mission, Woodside Health and Tennis Club, the Turner Swim Academy and Life Time Fitness. We’ll have the results for you Friday.
