The Tutera Group tonight will get a sense of whether the changes it’s made to the proposed Mission Chateau senior living community have assuaged any of the concerns of neighborhood homeowners.

Tutera is hosting a community meeting this evening from 7-9 p.m. at SM East during which it will present an overview of its current plans for the project to the neighbors. Tutera first presented its reconfigured designs for Mission Valley to the Prairie Village Planning Commission July 2. After that meeting, company head Joe Tutera said the group would be prepared to make additional tweaks to the design based on input from the neighbors — though, he said, “hopefully there won’t be the need for too much.”

The plans are slated to go back before the Planning Commission in early August.
