You may have noticed that we don’t do long-form journalism over here at shawneemissionpost.com… But the good people over at The Pitch do! And Pitch reporter Steve Vockrodt takes an in-depth look at the controversy surrounding the Mission Chateau proposal in this week’s cover story.
Under the headline “The Tutera Group isn’t getting much resistance to its plan to wall off a chunk of Prairie Village for the Medicare set,” Vockrodt examines the passionate opposition of the Mission Valley Neighbors Association as well as the Tutera Group’s contention that it’s only a very small group that doesn’t like the plan.
It’s a good read — and the comments section has the expected polarization.
