The annual egg drop, a scouting highlight observed each year by Cub Scout Troop 3294 at Highlands, had a special twist this year with the help of firefighters from CFD2. The idea is for each scout to package an egg to protect it from a high drop – usually from the roof of the school – then check the results. This year the drop was from a fire department basket truck. The firefighters even prepared their own entry in the contest.
