Trees trees trees! We’re tree-crazy around here this week, ya’ll!
Which is why we were pumped to receive official word that Prairie Village has been named a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation for the 16th time!
To earn the designation, cities have to meet the following requirements: a tree board or department, a tree-care ordinance, an annual community forestry budget of at least $2 per capita and an Arbor Day observance and proclamation.
“Tree”t yourself!
