A two-car accident at the intersection of 95th Street and Mission Road Sunday knocked over a lightpole, but left the drivers involved without serious injury.

Prairie Village Police Sgt. Byron Roberson said the crash occurred when an eastbound vehicle tried to make a left turn heading north onto Mission. Both drivers maintain they had the right of way. Police say they’ll be using footage from surveillance cameras at the intersection to help determine fault in the incident.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but were well enough to be able to converse with caregivers when they arrived.
