The bad news: SM East standout quarterback Jordan Darling has taken his last snap as a Lancer.

The good: There’s a pretty decent chance northeast Johnson County fans will still get to see a good deal of him in action in the coming years.

Darling on Wednesday made his oral commitment to Charlie Weis official by signing an agreement to play football at the University of Kansas next season. Darling is the top-rated pro-style QB in the state, according to Rivals.com and ESPN.
