Food on Friday: A weakness for Restaurant Week

This weekend begins one of my favorite dining out traditions – Kansas City Restaurant Week. From January 18th-27th, over 125 Kansas City restaurants will offer special, super-affordable menus, with proceeds benefiting Harvester’s Community Food Network and two other non-profits. Numerous Prairie Village restaurants will be taking part this year. Some restaurants will be featuring unique menu items while some will be offering discounts on their standard fare. As always, we recommend making advance reservations as soon as possible:

Blue Moose

Special $15 lunch menu includes:
– Choice of two salads or croquettes
– Choice of duck, chicken, osso bucco or filet mignon
– Choice of dessert
Special $30 dinner menu includes:
– Choice of two salads or croquettes
– Choice of pig cheeks, hanger steaks, scallops or rosemary chicken
– Choice of dessert

BRGR
Three course lunch menu – $15
Three course dinner menu – $20

O’Neills
$15 menu includes:
– A petite portion of salad or soup,
– Choice of salmon, KC strip or Delmar pasta
– Mini brownie or mini bread pudding
– $5 coupon to use in April
