The JV squad put in an early-morning performance for breakfast patrons.

The SM East Lancer Dancers kicked off their 2012-2013 campaign with a boost of community support at the annual Lancer Dancer Pancake Breakfast Saturday. Hundreds of SM East students, parents and siblings filed into the Auxiliary Gym for a fundraising breakfast catered by Chris Cakes. While the Dancer fans dined, they enjoyed entertainment from both the JV and Varsity dance crews and student musicians.

The Lancer Dancers head into the new season having put in a school-best performance at the National Dance Alliance championships in March.

SM East student Mason Pashia got the crowd tapping their toes with his acoustic guitar version of OutKast’s “Hey Ya.”
Social studies teacher John Nichols was among the hundreds of Lancers faithful to stock up on pancakes and sausage.
Senior Lancer Dancers showed off some of the team’s recent hardware.
