Get your art on, Prairie Village: Annual fair starts Friday

Mark Fisher carried daughter Julia on his back while son Jack considered a painting in artist Michael Holmes' tent at the Prairie Village Art Show in 2011.

The area’s biggest art fair — which continues to draw increasing attention from artists across the country —¬†returns to the Village Shops tonight for a three day run.

Organizer Donna Potts says the art fair committee received more than 425 applications for the 105 artist openings in this year’s fair.
