Police department graduates new Citizens Police Academy class

Citizens Police Academy graduate Charles Carroll receives his certificate from police chief Wes Jordan.

They may not be licensed to enforce the law — but they certainly have a better understanding of why and how law enforcement officers do what they do.

Police chief Wes Jordan on Monday presented nine recent graduates of the department’s Citizens Police Academy with their certificates of completion.
