The Kansas City Star reported earlier today that a masked gunman robbed Missouri Bank and Trust at the Village Shops around 2:40 p.m. The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to the Star:
The suspect is a black man standing about 5 feet 4 and weighing 180 pounds. He wore a blue scarf over the lower half of his face, a dark ball cap with no logo, dark jacket and dark pants. No one was injured.
First National Bank in Fairway was robbed February 24. Great Southern Bank in Prairie Village was robbed January 18.
The descriptions of the suspects in both of the previous incidents match that of the suspect in Monday’s robbery.
