Amy Cosgrove crowned 2011 SM East Sweetheart Queen

Amy Cosgrove and her father the moment after she was announced as 2011 Sweetheart Queen.

SM East crowned half of this year’s Sweetheart court during Friday’s boys varsity basketball game against SM Northwest.

Amy Cosgrove, a two year member of the Cross Country team and Choir, was named Sweetheart Queen. She is also the chair of the SHARE program Reach Out and Read.

The Queen’s court is as follows:

First attendant: Megan Nass
Second attendant: Betsy Dee
Third attendant: Emma Tyler
Fourth attendant: Emma Marston

The Sweetheart King and his court will be announced at tonight’s Sweetheart Dance.

First attendant Megan Nass has been on the Lancer Dancer Drill Team for four years and in the Choraliers for three. She is the Eastern Kansas Regional Vice President for DECA.
Second attendant Betsy Dee has been a JV/Varsity soccer player for four years and is a member of the Chamber Choir. She is the co-founder of the SHARE program To the Rescue: Save the Dolphins.
Third attendant Emma Tyler is a four year member of the Choir and a member of the National Honor Society. She is the co-chair of the SHARE program Reach Out and Read.
Fourth attendant Emma Marston is a two year member of the Choraliers and director of Frequent Friday. She has been involved in the production of nine stage plays at SM East.
