The Kansas City Police Department has released the name and mugshot of the “person of interest” in the Brian Euston homicide investigation. An email from the Central Patrol Division:
The Jackson County prosecutor has filed charges against a man in connection with the death of Brian Euston last fall in Westport.
Prosecutor Jim Kanatzar has charged Stanford Griswold with first-degree involuntary manslaughter in connection with Euston’s death. Kanatzar made the announcement during a news conference on Thursday morning.
On Oct. 10, an ambulance rushed Euston to the hospital from the corner of Westport Road and Mill Street at about 2:30 a.m. At the time, police weren’t sure if he had been beaten or had fallen, but Euston’s death was later ruled a homicide by the Jackson County medical examiner.
