Prairie Village Post celebrates six month anniversary

It was six months ago today that we flipped the switch on shawneemissionpost.com, the only news source dedicated exclusively to what’s happening in the SM East area. Nearly 400 posts, 1,000 comments, 40,000 visitors and 60,000 pageviews later, time has definitely flown by. But with each passing week, we’ve watch a fledgling online community begin to flourish.

After we launched in June, it wasn’t unusual for just a couple of hundred people to show up on the site each week. Now, three to four thousand visits a week is the norm — and we see stronger and stronger growth every month.

Readers play a vital role in helping us determine what to cover, so we thought we’d take the opportunity to seek some input: What do you like most about the site? What do you like least? What would you like to see more of? What could you do without? Use the comments section to share your thoughts, or shoot us an email at feedback [at] shawneemissionpost.com.

Thanks for reading. Thanks for participating. And thanks for being a part of the great northeast Johnson County community.
