More police activity, this time at 75th and Roe

It’s been a busy day for police.

Several squad cars just left the intersection of 75th Street and Roe Avenue. The police dispatcher said the cars were responding to “suspicious activity,” but not to a reported burglary or any other crime.

We saw one car turn down 74th Street and then into Brush Creek, driving west toward Roe Avenue through the creek bed. An officer got out of his car along Tomahawk Road a bit later and spent several minutes shining a flashlight down into the creek.

It’s unclear at this point whether this could be related to the string of vandalism that many residents have been noticing.
