Fore! I mean, Ford!

A car chase that began in Independence after police observed a car hit another vehicle and then keep driving ended in a chilly water hazard at Meadowbrook Country Club yesterday.

After a high speed chase that led through Independence, Kansas City, and eventually Prairie Village, the subject of the pursuit drove the Ford F-350 truck into a tree. He jumped out of the car and into a pond on the golf course just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
