The Lancers couldn’t overcome the defending state champion Olathe North Eagles’ home turf advantage last night, falling 23-14 at the Olathe District Activity Complex. The Lancers are now 3-1. Olathe East, the only other team in the Sunflower League that was undefeated going into this weekend’s games, trounced Leavenworth 62-6, bringing them to 4-0 overall, and putting them in sole possession of first place.

The Lancers head west next weekend to take on Lawrence Free State.
