Mission Hills native Bobby Bollier notched a fourth place finish last night in the 200 meter butterfly finals at the USA National Swimming Championships in Irvine, Cal. Bollier had put in the third fastest performance in the preliminaries for the event, but was edged down a spot in the finals after Mark Dylla of the Athens Bulldogs landed second place. Dylla had been fourth in the prelims.
World-record holder Michael Phelps took first place in the event, as expected.
Bollier will be competing in the 100 meter butterfly today.
