Mission lays out snow removal plan. Mission wants to educate residents about how the city plans for snow removal. More details will be discussed Wednesday at the Community Development Committee meeting, but for now, here are some of the rules: In the event of snow, residents are encouraged to move vehicles out of the street whenever possible; snow removal priorities in order are streets, public facilities, school sidewalks, trails and parks, and streets are prioritized by terrain, amount of visibility and traffic, a hilly street will be plowed before a level one. Consolidated Fire District No. 2 has busy November. Consolidated Fire District No. 2 found time in its busy schedule last month for some community outreach programs. The firefighters hosted trainers and their service dogs from Paws for Freedom at Station 21 as part of the program to train dogs to assist the disabled. The department also held its Second Annual Black Friday Blood Drive and had many people stop by the station to donate blood.
