Greig Anthony Westerfield, 52

Westerfield-GriegGreig Anthony Westerfield, 52, of Overland Park, Kansas died Friday, November 18, 2016.

He was born to the late Henry and JoAnn Westerfield, November 4, 1964, in Louisville, KY. Greig graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1983. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas in 1989, and has resided in the Kansas City area since.

Greig was a successful salesman. He valued time spent with family and friends, and was especially proud of his Kentucky roots. He was passionate about University of Louisville basketball. He was a baptized member of the Catholic faith.

Greig is survived by his older siblings Hunter Westerfield and Denise Komer also of the Kansas City area, and their families, as well as many beloved extended family members in the Louisville, Kentucky area.

A brief committal service will be held, Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 1:30 p.m. at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 8321 Quivira Road, Lenexa, KS. A celebration of Greig’s life will take place following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Greig’s name to the American Liver Foundation.
