Last year, it seemed as if northeast Johnson County would soon have a glut of natural grocery store options to choose from. Today, only one of three stores thought to be headed to the area appears to be coming for sure.
The well-publicized faltering of the Mission Gateway development raises questions about when — or even if — Sprouts will be coming to Mission. And the fate of the resurrected proposal for the Keystone property along Johnson Drive that includes Natural Grocers as the anchor tenant is very much up in the air. GreenAcres Market, however, is still set to be the anchor tenant of the Woodside Village development in Westwood.
