As we reported last week, the city of Prairie Village will begin a more rigorous approach to enforcing its property maintenance codes this spring. This means codes enforcement officers will be contacting homeowners about issues like overgrown lawns, peeling paint and broken gutters. If the issues aren’t resolved in a timely manner, the property owners could receive a ticket.
