Based on response to yesterday’s Talk Amongst Yourself topic, we all have a lot of fun speculating about what kinds of businesses might be headed to local shopping centers. So let’s keep the good times rolling!
As we reported yesterday, the developer of the Gateway East project in Mission appears close to signing leases with three restaurants — Grimaldi’s Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria, Blackfinn Ameripub, and Noodles & Company. RED Brokerage and Cameron Group LLC will need to sign a number of additional leases to fill the space, though. What kinds of businesses would you like to see coming to Gateway East? Are there any companies in particular you think would make good “junior anchors” to Walmart and Sprouts, the anchor tenants? What’s your opinion of the project as a whole?
