The planned 101-unit apartment complex will be called The Welstone at Mission Crossing. It is the last piece of a mixed use development under way by LANE4 Property Group near Broadmoor and Martway. LANE4 has partnered with Tetrad Property Group and Welcov Healthcare on the project to create The Welstone.

Welcov Healthcare operates senior living communities and serves clients in 55 skilled nursing communities, senior house and home health agencies from Wyoming to Iowa. A groundbreaking for the senior apartments in Mission will be held April 4.

The project will include one and two-bedroom apartments on three levels. It will have dining facilities and a fitness facility called Welcamp. “Welcamp will include experts who know how to engage older adults giving them the opportunity to be involved in a highly structured exercise program that is results-driven,” said Welcov President Tom Boerboom.

The Welstone at Mission Crossing project is expected to be completed in early 2015. Additional locations across the Midwest are planned to follow. The Welstone concept offers dining, recreation and transportation services in the base package with homemaking and medical services on an a la carte basis designed to allow residents to age in place and pay for additional services only when needed.
LANE4 is excited to enter the Senior Living market with The Welstone Independent Living Plus concept,” said Hunter Harris, LANE4 Property Group Vice President of Development and Principal.
