SM North provided a big shot of inspiration for the runners and walkers at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this year in Kansas City. Drummers from North.
This from the Shawnee Mission School District site:
“Starting at sunrise, the students played for two hours at the finish line before leading a parade of survivors to the event main stage.
With drumsticks in hand, they entertained and motivated the survivors and supporters that took part in the annual race.
An estimated 20,000 people participated in the event held to raise funds that help provide screening services and treatment for breast cancer patients.”
