The owners of the popular high-end pizza restaurant scheduled to take over a soon-to-be-vacated spot at Corinth Square felt the need Tuesday to stop a rumor before it spun out of control.
SPIN! Neopolitan Pizza co-owner Gail Lozoff confirmed in a statement that the restaurant is, indeed, moving into Corinth Square — as announced last November.
Rumors that the restaurant would not be moving into the site occupied at present by CVS on the northeast corner of the main building had been spreading over the past month, with considerable chatter at the shopping center and on social networking sites.
“For some reason, the rumor mill has been active with regard to our plans to open in Corinth Square,” Lozoff said. “I want to put any rumors to rest. We definitely look forward to opening in Corinth and serving Prairie Village and its neighbors.”
The company reports it is “well along in the design stage” for the Corinth location. It anticipates opening the 3,500 square foot restaurant in late 2012 or early 2013. CVS will vacate the space on Aug. 12 when it officially opens its new building.
